Our new pets

Matt and I decided to let the kids get some new pets. Nothing large, in fact they are each only about the size of a golf ball.

They are super sweet and cute as can be to us.

Tutter is the dark brown/white one.
Scarlet is the tan one with red eyes.
Rosie is the tan/white one

This is there new house

Like I mentioned on SHS, I'm terrified of rodent types, but they sure are cute.

Hope y'all have lots of fun with them. How long do they live?

MY boys both want a *pet* when we move. I think we may have to look into something small that lives in a cage!

Okay, Kel, you're a really great mom! We have a dog, and that's it. I could NEVER have rodents as pets.LOL I do think they're cute, though...as long as they're at your house! ;)

Oh, how adorable!! My son has asthma, so we can't have pets like that, even though he wants one!! Happy Holidays!!

CUTE! (Is Tutter from 'Bear and the Big Blue House?' - My kids loved that show!)

We just got rid of our guinea pig this past week. I couldn't stand the smell/mess anymore. Maybe something small like that wouldn't be as bad. (?)

Enjoy your new pets!

Yes Tutter is from Bear in the Big Blue house. He was Everett's favorite when he was a toddler. As for them not smelling as much, I wouldn't count on that. I think it's just a small animal thing, doesn't matter what they all smell the same.

So are they mice?

We bought the kids a dwarf hamster for Christmas. They are loving it. It has been extremely tolerant of their "love".
