Our School Room Revamp is done!

Well after a couple weekends of organizing, weeding out things we don't need anymore and moving things around the school room is finally done.

I really like our new shelving unit. It holds all the stuff the 2 cubby units, and 2 small bookshelves used to. It's given us a lot of free wall space. I also love our new chalkboard. It works and looks so much better than the old tile board we had. I could never seem to get that tile board clean if I used dark colors on it.

The kids can't wait to get started. We seemed to finish the room just in time as we've decided to push our start date up from August 4th to July 28th.

I'll put a slide show in here since the one on the sidebar will take a few hours or so to update. Just so everyone knows the "Skull Room" image is one Matt made for me. Lucas can't say "school" very well so it usually comes out sounding like "skull" Matt and I thought it was funny how he'd ask to do "Skull" in the "skull room".

Hope everyone is having a great summer.

Wow- your schoolroom looks great! Very organized. I'm just starting on ours - it was a single car attached garage that I am turning into a play/school room.

Anyhow - great blog!

Wow! It looks deliciously organized. I can tell you have put a lot of thought and effort into making every area a place for both fun and learning.

If you are feeling inspired there's a disheveled little corner of Central Texas that could use your golden touch, LOL.
